Blacktip Scuba is a 5 star PADI resort with very defined brand values: prime customer service, privileged location, top diving and amazing logistics.
Their new logo and tagline did not only have to represent these values but also attempt to attract more entry-level students. One of the main drawbacks for new divers are sharks, for this reason, we redesigned the logo in a way where we could maintain a shark element but by adding the coral effect, make it less threatening. To reinforce the logo, the tagline “The Seriously Fun Diving Oasis” was created.
In terms of advertising, we focused more on the location and fun values by creating the slogan: “Take a Dive on the Wild Side,” a memorable phrase thanks to Lou Reed’s famous song.
Special attention was also given to the equipment room facade by creating a striking image converting the area into an advertising billboard as well as a photo backdrop for clients.
